Jeremiah 29:17-19

17 Even thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will send upon them the [a]sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile [b]figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so naughty.
18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence: and I will make them a terror to all kingdoms of the earth, and [c]a curse, and astonishment, and an hissing and a reproach among all the nations whither I have cast them,
19 Because they have not heard my words saith the Lord, which I sent unto them by my servants the Prophets, [d]rising up early, and sending them, but ye would not hear, saith the Lord.
